Ariadne’s Thread

According to the Myth, Ariadne, the daughter of King Minos of Crete, helped Theseus by giving him a sword and a ball of thread in overcoming the Minotaur and finding his way out of the Minotaur’s labyrinth.
Zeus+Dione transfigures the symbols of the rich Greek Mythology. Structured lines evoking the architectural geometry of the Labyrinth and versatile fluidity, relating with the unfolding ball of thread coexist and become a point of reference for the present collection.
From Metsovo to Astypalea, from outer garments to undergarments, the traditional greek costume keeps the basic shapes and is transformed to new aesthetic contemporary lines. Oversized capes, straight coats, fitted blazers, structured skirts, elongated trousers, fluid long dresses, silk shirts and hand knitted pullovers.
