With the lead of the founders Mareva and Dimitra, Zeus+Dione team was in New York last week to host an event at Bergdorf Goodman’s 5th avenue store in Manhattan to celebrate our SS 17 line of bags.

The occasion provided a great opportunity for us to meet some of our loyal and new customers and tell the story behind our brand and the provenance of our products. At the event, customers could have their initial exclusively embossed on their Zeus+Dione bags as models presented the ready-to-wear line.

Along with the Zeus+Dione team, Evangelie Smyrniotaki, wearing Zeus+Dione SS 17 pieces, represented her blog ‘Style Heroine’ (you must visit her amazing blog).

Whilst in New York and with the spring in the air, we took time to visit some of our favorite places there.

First spring walk at the Central Park 

'ABC Carpet & Home'

Like an up-market bazaar, ABC Carpet and Home sells furniture, jewelry, textiles and carpets across six floors in their treasure trove of a shop between Lower and Midtown Manhattan. Pat of it, there are two famed restaurants, one dedicated to Latin American cuisine and one for locally sourced and organic food.  

Mociun

Based in Brooklyn, few blocks up from Williamsburg Bridge, Mociun sells fine jewelry with unique diamond and gemstone combinations, interesting ceramics and textiles as well as beauty products. Mociun is worth venturing away from Manhattan for.

Sant Ambroeus

With numerous restaurants scatted around Manhattan, Sant Ambroeus is our favorite Italian in New York for lunch. Each location has an authentically nostalgic atmosphere that transports you back in time and the food is just like they serve it in Italy
