Greek artist Nikomachi Karakostanoglou may have made her public debut only two years ago but her artistic sensibility has been evolving ever since she came up with the concept of “sculpting space” during her studies in interior design, sculpture and public art in London. Eager to experiment and explore, she studied Chinese calligraphy while living in Shanghai, and worked as an interior designer in Athens, before retreating to her studio in Nymfaio, a mountainous village in Macedonia, to focus on her art.

It’s safe to say that 2020 has been a veritable annus horribilis and that the new year can’t come soon enough. Our collective hope that the new year will bring health and prosperity meets Z+D’s conviction that it will in the brand’s 2021 lucky charm.

Greek singer-songwriter Monika has been wooing Greek and international audiences for over a decade with her soulful pop/folk songs, signature melodies and evocative lyrics.  Since 2008, when her debut album “Avatar” was released to both commercial success and critical acclaim, she has been at the forefront of the burgeoning indie pop scene of Athens with three more albums, original music scores for film and theatre, and countless live concerts.

For travel aficionado Sofi Hatzivassiliou, travel isn’t just a passion, it’s a way of life. There is a cathartic element in discovering new places, cultures and people; it nourishes wisdom, spurs personal growth and is a reminder of our shared humanity. For the last decade, and following a successful career in advertising, exploring the world has been Sofi’s full-time profession. Born out of a desire to share her travel experiences, she created Original Senses, a boutique travel agency designed to curate bespoke journeys that exceed expectations and take us beyond our comfort zone.

Cultural weekend at Costa Navarino

My weekend escape at Costa Navarino, was a relaxing and educational time for me. Costa Navarino is one of the nicest resorts in Greece. I was so excited and honored to represent ZEUS+DIONE during the “Cultural Weekend: Under the Spell of Greek Costume event”, an initiative by Benaki Museum in collaboration with Athens International Airport, hosted by Costa Navarino. I couldn’t wait to be amongst the old olive trees and the magnetic views of the sea.
